Our regular season has come to an end and we now start our playoffs. Congratulations to Team 4 Water Street Café and Team 10 Winnipesaukee EBikes for winning their respective divisions. Winnipesaukee EBikes earned the top spot in the Allen Division by virtue of having defeated Team 8 Big Lake Realty in both head-to-head contests this season. Water Street Café and Winnipesaukee EBikes have earned a first round bye in the playoffs for the league championship, and will play each other this coming week with the winner being crowned the Regular Season Champion.
In the Swarthout Division, 2nd place Team 3 Lyman and Sons Excavation will take on 3rd place Team 5 Turner Electric this week, with the winner taking on Water Street Café the following week. In the Allen Division, 2nd place Big Lake Realty will take on Team 6 Patrick’s Pub, with the winner of this match moving on to face Winnisepaukee EBikes the following week. The winners of these 2 matches will face each other in Week 3 of the Playoffs on 9/11/2025 for the League Championship.
The remaining 4 teams, Team 1 Properties by Pete, Team 2 Winni Bar and Billiards, Team 9 Belknap Point Inn and Team 7 Giguerre Electric will play a round robin style tournament with the winning team earning a spot potentially as high as 5th place in the championship standings which earns gift certificate prizes.
Following the league playoffs, we will be having 2 fun nights, the formats of those 2 night having yet to be finalized. One of the 2 nights will be either the very popular red, white and blue challenge, or the 2 man quota point scramble. PLEASE reach out to our Handicap Chairman Jon with your suggestions and comments regarding your thoughts on what we should do this year as well as your opinions on fun nights from previous years.
Our league banquet will be held on Thursday October 2nd, in the clubhouse at The Ridge. Happy hour starts at 5:00 PM with food being served around 6:00. Prizes will be awarded following the meal.
